I am an Associate Professor of Banking and Finance at Monash University, Australia. My research explores how financial systems can create opportunities for disadvantaged people to participate meaningfully in economic life. I work at the intersection of banking and finance, entrepreneurship, behavioural science, and public policy to understand how financial institutions can promote inclusion, resilience, and sustainable development.
My work combines rigorous research with real-world implementation. I collaborate with central banks, financial institutions, governments, and community organisations to design, evaluate, and scale evidence-based innovations that strengthen financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and disability-inclusive financial systems.
This website brings together my research, educational initiatives, and research translation activities. It is intended for researchers, students, policymakers, practitioners, and organisations interested in using finance as a tool for inclusive development.
